“The song is a vibrant, high-spirited folk dance number. This is my first time doing a dance number like this and I’m very excited to be a part of it. I’ve always wanted to be in a full dance number and I’m glad the opportunity presented itself to me,” says Keerthy.
With the setting and tone of the song exhibiting cinematic grandeur, Keerthy says it was done on a grand scale. “To be honest, it was like shooting a movie song. There was no difference between shooting for a movie song and an independent song. In fact, my friends saw the poster and asked me if it was a movie I was a part of,” Keerthy smiles. The actress also adds that her dancing has improved.
“I guess my dance skills improved after being part of that song. The whole experience was all the more memorable working with friends,” she adds.
The actress also says she had a great time working with choreographer Brinda. “Brinda master was my first dance tutor. She introduced me to dance and, as always, I loved working with her. She is very clear about what she expects from her artists. She knows what I do best and always brings out the best in me,” says Keerthy.
The actress is also kicked out of her song, Kalaavathi by Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which opens to good reviews. “I’m happy that the song is named after my character. I’m so happy to see that everyone loves the song and appreciates it as much as I do,” she concludes.
