Skits and dance performances mark the annual Day event

The theme for the recently held annual Pallavi International School Day celebrations was “Life is Beautiful” and was meticulously presented through a spectacular performance by students from kindergarten through seventh grade.

The program began with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by an invocation dance by Aditi of Grade IV. The chief guest of the event was Dr. E Ramesh Kumar, IAS, a 1999 batch officer from Madhya Pradesh cadre.

The welcome address and introduction of the main guest was given by Director Grecilda Rose who welcomed everyone. Speaking on the occasion, the school’s president, Komariah, said everyone in the organization should strive to give their best.

The Academic Director, Dr. Sudha, shared her insights and motivational thoughts. She started with a meaningful shloka – “kutumbaka Jeevanam mama” which means family is life. She also insisted on living our lives like a king and that she believes in love, peace and happiness. The school’s principal, Sushil Kumar, also addressed the gathering.

During the cultural programs, the students presented a range of performances in the form of song, dance, art, music and drama. Grade VII performed a dance which represented Naari Shakti. Grade VI came with a value-based skit – Mobile Mania. The program was structured around the theme “Life is beautiful”.

The principal of the school, Ms. Yugala, proposed a vote of thanks.
