“The Body Remembers” is a collection of dances that explore themes of absence in New Orleans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Music Box Village soundscape comes to life this week with in-person performances! The Newcomb Dance Company and the Department of Theater and Dance at Tulane University are teaming up with New Orleans Airlift for a dance performance The Body Remembers. It is a collection of dances exploring themes of absence during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joining us by phone is New Orleans Airlift’s Lead Creative Producer, Leah Hennessy.
Performances run from Thursday April 15 to Saturday April 17 with two performances each evening at 6 and 8 p.m. The Music Box Village is located at 4557 N. Rampart Street.
