Dance artist Becky Hill to travel to Nottingham for Confetti Industry Week event – Reuters

Dance sensation Becky Hill won a Brit Award last month.

Dance music artist Becky Hill is one of 80 stars and creative industry experts who come to Nottingham to inspire students at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.

It is part of a series of masterclasses, workshops, talks and demonstrations at the annual Confetti Industry Week event.

Now in its 16th year, the student event runs from Monday March 7 to Friday March 11.

It will feature a celebration of International Women’s Day, the return of Confetti alumni now working successfully in the industry, and Nottingham East MP Nadia Whittome discussing inclusivity and opportunity.

Dance music sensation Hill will be making a special appearance, fresh off of his recent award-winning UK hit.

Alongside manager Alex Martin, she will discuss her rise to dominance in the dance music scene, sharing her experience of the business.

Grammy Award-winning writer, composer, producer and performer William Orbit will also be interviewed about his stage career at the Huntingdon Street Metronome.

Considered a pioneer of electronic music and one of contemporary pop’s most innovative artists, his career spanned 40 years during which he produced some of pop music’s landmark records, including “Ray Of Light ” by Madonna and “13” by Blur.

William Orbit is known for his work with artists such as Madonna, Blur and Robbie Williams.

Visual effects guru Victor Perez, whose work includes Star Wars Rogue One, documentary filmmaker Jeanie Finlay (Game of Thrones: The Last Watch), and acclaimed film and television directors Sarmad Masud and Basma Khalifa are also present.

Representatives from gaming giants Sumo Digital, EA Games, Free Radical and Warlord Games will provide insight into the global gaming industry.

Esports guests will also appear, including technical director JD Wu, who worked on the prestigious “League of Legends World Championship”, and Kevin Lee, who works as a producer for TSM, the most popular esports organization. appreciated in the world.

Confetti will also host a special esports invite, Women in Games Jam.
