hamilton star Daniel Assetta and his husband Tobias Madden became the stars of a viral video, which caught the attention of millions, including superstar Jennifer Lopez.
The Australian couple, who married in 2019, choreographed and performed a dance routine to J-Lo’s 1999 hit let’s make some noise, to the delight of guests at their wedding reception.
Assetta reposted the video on her TikTok account to celebrate the couple’s third anniversary, and the post drew more than 700,000 likes.
Jennifer Lopez saw the video and reposted it to her Instagram Stories, captioning the message “Congratulations.” The video has now amassed over 4.4 million views.

Assetta then posted a TikTok expressing her reaction to Lopez’s repost, saying, “When you wake up scrolling through Instagram to realize the QUEEN herself, JENNIFER LOPEZ shared your wedding dance!”
Assetta fans were quick to praise the pair’s routine. “CAR. THIS. IS. ICONIC,” one said, while another said, “your wedding dance is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen on TikTok.
Assetta, currently appearing as Samuel Seabury in the Melbourne production of hamilton, has a long list of theatrical credits, including West Side Story, A chorus line, The Book of Mormon, Cats, Nastyand funny girl.
As he appeared in Cats he met her husband Tobias, who was also a cast member. Madden has since become an author and wrote the novels Anything but good and Shoot a bow, Noah Mitchell.

In a November interview with the stargazer, Assetta praised her husband’s writing skills, calling Anything but good “the Queer book I wish I had when I was a teenager.”
“I’m so proud of him,” Assetta said.

Assetta and Madden frequently appear on each other’s social media feeds, and Assetta told the stargazer that he likes to share their life with others.
“I became very comfortable in my own skin and loved living the life I was living and wanted to share that with everyone.”
