Alus does the “Money Dance” [Video]

Booming pop-R&B singer-songwriter ALU kick off their new year in exciting fashion by unveiling their new R&B-infused, melodic-drilling single titled “Money Dance”. The vibrant guitar track produced by the Dubai-based beatsmith Timid beats is as heavy as they come and it also interpolates the melody of Kay“Love Nwantintin” with a unique touch. ALUS, of course, sounds in her element as she embodies the boastful side of her spirit, as she embraces the idea that men try to use money to attract women. Musically, the track is driven by Alus’ captivating vocals, infectious melodies and provocative lyrics that champion women as providers of themselves and others. As a natural go-getter, she reminds listeners that she doesn’t have time for these types of men because she’s too busy making her money dance.

For the accompanying music video, Alus collaborates with Mikey D’Amico (A$AP Ferg, DJ Khaled, Timbaland) to bring the R&Drill track even more to life. Drawing inspiration from classic gangster characters like Scarface, Pablo Escobar, El Chapo and more, Alus plays the female versions of these outlaws and shows that her gender can be strong characters in all kinds of situations too.

“Money Dance” is the precursor to her long-awaited and highly anticipated new EP which will arrive later this year.
